Reviews and Ratings
I had an amazing experience at this hotel. The intimate atmosphere and the beautiful surroundings made it a perfect getaway for relaxation. The service was top-notch, particularly in the restaurant, where the dining experience was delightful. But I did encounter some issues with the spa facilities that could definitely use improvement.
I had high hopes for this hotel, especially given its past reputation and new ownership, but my recent experience left me disappointed. The rooms are spacious and quiet, which is a plus, but the service was lacking and the facilities didn’t meet my expectations. Although the dining experience had its highlights, particularly the fantastic waiter, the overall quality and cleanliness of the amenities, like the pool and spa, were concerning. I walked away feeling that I might hold off on recommending this place in the future.
The hotel offers a tranquil and intimate atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms are quaint, featuring beautiful touches and a cozy seating area outside. The on-site dining at NOLO is exceptional, showcasing fresh, flavorful dishes. However, the facilities could use some upgrading, as the bathroom felt a bit dated, and some dining options were hit or miss. Overall, it's a lovely place for those seeking a peaceful retreat, despite a few drawbacks.
I had a lovely stay at Stonehenge Inn, where the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The bar was a highlight, especially with the enthusiastic and knowledgeable bartender. Chef Bob truly made our dining experience exceptional. On the downside, while the food was great, the service in the restaurant could be improved as our orders took longer than expected.
My experience at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was absolutely beautiful, providing a lovely, wooded environment, but the service left much to be desired. The dining options were very hit or miss, and the facilities, while offering potential, had significant cleanliness issues that detracted from the experience.
